This Policy summarizes the cancellation and refund rules for online advisory reports and related fixed-scope services purchased from GLK Construction Management & Consulting LLC. The Advisory Report Service Terms contain the complete terms and control if there is a conflict.
Standard rule
- Full refund before Substantive Work starts. You may cancel for a full refund before GLK begins project-specific document review, research, analysis, a substantive project meeting, development of findings, or drafting.
- Non-refundable after Substantive Work starts. Once GLK begins that work, the fee is non-refundable because GLK has reserved professional capacity and begun the purchased service.
- If GLK cannot perform. If GLK accepts an order but determines it cannot provide the purchased service, and you do not accept a reasonable substitute or revised scope, GLK will refund the fee paid for the service GLK cannot provide.
- Mandatory rights remain. Nothing in this Policy limits a refund, correction, re-performance, cooling-off, withdrawal, warranty, or other remedy that applicable law does not permit you to waive.
Administrative intake, a conflict check, payment processing, and an initial file-completeness check are not Substantive Work.
How to cancel
Email info@glkcmc.com with the subject Cancellation Request. Include your name, order number, project, and a clear statement that you wish to cancel. Cancellation is effective when GLK receives the request.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within the period required by law and otherwise ordinarily within 10 business days. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to post the credit.
EEA and UK consumers
If you are an individual consumer in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom and the applicable distance-contract rules apply, you may generally withdraw within 14 days after the service contract is concluded.
If you expressly ask GLK to begin during that period and then withdraw before completion, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for work performed. If GLK fully performs after your express request and your acknowledgment that the right will be lost after full performance, the withdrawal right ends. The Service Terms include a model withdrawal form.
Service concerns
If you believe GLK did not provide the agreed service, contact us promptly with the order number and a description of the concern. GLK will evaluate correction, re-performance, refund, or another remedy available under the agreement and applicable law.
