Effective Date: August 22, 2026
This Notice applies whenever you email, upload, link, or otherwise provide documents or project information to GLK Construction Management & Consulting LLC. It supplements the Privacy Policy and Advisory Report Service Terms.
1. Upload only what is needed
Provide only information reasonably necessary for the requested service. Before uploading, review every file and remove information unrelated to GLK’s scope.
Unless GLK specifically requests it through an approved secure method, do not provide:
- passwords, authentication codes, private keys, or account credentials;
- full payment-card or bank-account numbers;
- Social Security numbers, passport numbers, driver-license numbers, or other government identifiers;
- medical, biometric, genetic, or health-insurance information;
- children’s information;
- criminal-history information;
- classified information, controlled technical data, or export-controlled material;
- documents subject to a court sealing order or protective order;
- trade secrets or competitively sensitive information not necessary for the service; or
- malware, executable files, or links that grant broader system access than needed.
If such information is genuinely necessary, contact GLK before sending it so GLK can decide whether to accept it and identify an appropriate method.
2. Your authority
By submitting material, you confirm that:
- you own it or are authorized to provide it;
- GLK and its authorized providers may process it to evaluate and perform the service;
- you have provided required privacy notices and obtained required consents or other lawful authority;
- your submission does not violate another person’s confidentiality, privacy, intellectual-property, employment, contractual, or other rights; and
- you have checked the file and retained an independent backup.
Do not send material that belongs to an employer, partner, client, lender, contractor, or other person unless you have authority.
3. Privileged and legally restricted documents
GLK is not a law firm, and sending a document to GLK does not create attorney-client privilege. Disclosure to GLK or a technology provider could affect an existing privilege or confidentiality restriction. Consult your attorney before submitting legal advice, attorney work product, litigation material, protected settlement communications, or information governed by a nondisclosure agreement or court order.
4. AI-assisted processing
GLK may use approved AI-assisted or document-processing tools for tasks such as text extraction, file organization, comparison, summarization, research support, issue spotting, analysis support, or drafting. Approved providers may include OpenAI, Anthropic, or another vendor selected by GLK.
GLK applies human review to final Deliverables and does not treat AI output as a substitute for professional judgment. GLK will not intentionally authorize a provider to use identifiable Client Materials to train a general-purpose public model without express written consent. Information may be processed in the United States or another provider location, subject to applicable safeguards.
If you require a no-generative-AI workflow, notify GLK in writing before ordering or uploading. GLK will confirm whether it can accept that restriction and any change to scope, fee, or timing.
5. Security and retention
Use only the transfer method GLK identifies for the engagement. Do not place files in a public link or grant permanent access to an entire drive or mailbox. Limit sharing permissions to the required folder and time.
GLK’s baseline is to schedule source uploads for deletion no later than 12 months after final delivery, subject to legal holds, disputes, security needs, project agreements, and technical backup cycles. Final reports, transaction records, agreements, and material engagement records may be retained for seven years.
6. If you upload something by mistake
Contact info@glkcmc.com promptly with the subject Upload Removal Request. Identify the file and project without repeating the sensitive information in the email. GLK will evaluate deletion and downstream-provider steps, subject to legal and technical limitations.
